Job description

Let’s shape the future of finance - together

At Isabel, we believe that real innovation happens when people and ideas connect

That’s why we’re building more than technology, we’re building an ecosystem.

One where every voice counts, and where your work can truly make a difference.

We’re looking for curious minds and collaborative builders. People who believe success means growing together, learning from each other, and challenging the status quo.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

What you’ll do

At Isabel Group, our mission is clear: protect our customers from the ever-evolving world of fraud — from malware and fake invoices to scams and account takeovers.

This role is all about detecting, preventing, and blocking fraudulent payments using advanced data-driven techniques, fraud detection tools, and close collaboration with our banking partners.

The function combines three dimensions:

  • Operational – Identify and stop fraud in daily payment flows (KPI-driven).

  • Strategic – Strengthen customer trust in Isabel’s payment solutions.

  • Collaborative – Build strong relationships with bank fraud teams.

Your tasks will include:

  1. Fraud Detection & Prevention

  • Monitor and manage parked payments on a daily basis.

  • Reduce false positives while improving detection accuracy.

  • Coordinate with Customer Care and partner banks on fraud-related cases.

  • Maintain and refine fraud detection rules and models.

  • Act as a subject-matter expert for Isabel’s fraud detection and scoring systems.

2. Fraud Intelligence & Big Data

  • Transform data into actionable insight for fraud prevention.

  • Develop data mining models and profiling techniques to uncover fraud patterns.

  • Support the BI team in maintaining the transaction-level data repository.

  • Build dashboards and KPIs to track performance and detection effectiveness.

  • Detect outliers and unusual payment behaviors across customers and banks.

  • Define and configure new detection rules based on data trends.

3. Investigations

  • Analyze parked or suspicious payments to confirm or rule out fraud.

  • Liaise with customers and banks to mitigate risks and prevent losses.

  • Document all investigation details and outcomes with precision.

4. Continuous Improvement & Bank Collaboration

  • Identify process gaps and propose innovative fraud mitigation solutions.

  • Collaborate with Product Management on product improvements.

  • Drive innovation and propose new ideas to enhance Isabel’s fraud services.
