As a Senior Product Manager – Anti-Fraud Payments, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy to strengthen fraud detection and prevention across Isabel’s payment solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, compliance, and customer success, to deliver products that balance frictionless user experience with robust security.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping Isabel’s approach to combating financial fraud, ensuring our products meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations in terms of trust and security.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Product Strategy & Vision:

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for anti-fraud initiatives within Isabel’s payment solutions.

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer discovery to identify emerging threats and opportunities in fraud prevention.

Fraud Risk Management:

• Lead the development of innovative fraud detection and prevention capabilities, including real-time monitoring, machine learning models, and behavioral analytics.

• Partner with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations (PSD2, GDPR, AML, etc.).

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to translate anti-fraud requirements into scalable product features.

• Drive cross-functional alignment on priorities, ensuring timely and successful product releases.

• Work closely with financial institutions and partners to integrate anti-fraud solutions seamlessly into their ecosystems.

Customer-Centric Approach:

• Balance security measures with user experience to minimize friction for legitimate users while maximizing fraud deterrence.

• Engage with customers to gather feedback and continuously improve product performance and usability.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for anti-fraud measures and use data insights to inform product decisions.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, evolving fraud patterns, and new technologies in payments and financial security.

Job requirements

Experience:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on fraud prevention within the payment domain.

• Proven track record of delivering anti-fraud products.

Technical Acumen:

• Strong understanding of payment processing flows, fraud detection methodologies, and authentication technologies (e.g., 3D Secure, biometrics, behavioral analytics).

• Familiarity with machine learning applications in fraud prevention is a strong plus.

Regulatory Knowledge:

• Deep knowledge of relevant financial regulations, including PSD2, GDPR, AML/KYC requirements, and their impact on product development.

Leadership & Communication:

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical topics into clear business insights.

• Fluent in Dutch & English and/or French and English

Customer Focus:

• Passion for building customer-centric solutions with a keen eye for balancing user experience and security.
