As a experienced Sales Director, you will lead our sales efforts in banking services and embedded finance.

You’ll join the BusDev and MarCom division and lead our internal partner (2) and sales team (3). In this pivotal role, will drive revenue growth, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company's overall success. We are committed to creating meaningful work together and supporting each other along the way.

Your challenge

As member of the business development team, you will (re)boost the relation and grow the business with our partners and customers in Belgium and beyond.

This position involves

• Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Isabel’s strategic objectives in the payments and embedded finance sector

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of partner managers, sales executives, and account managers

• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and innovative sales approaches in the banking and embedded finance landscape

• Develop short, medium, and long-term sales plans, working cross-functionally with finance, compliance, marketing, and product teams

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners

• Actively participate in prospecting new strategic clients and nurturing existing relationships to develop an effective network or ecosystem

• Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communication department to ensure a cohesive commercial action plan

Job requirements

How to be successful in your new role? You have:

• proven experience in sales leadership within the banking or financial technology sector and a strong understanding of banking products, embedded finance solutions, and market trends

• experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams

• an ecosystem and strategic thinking mindset

• ‘Getting things done’ spirit and a pragmatic approach

• excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners

• demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets

• fluency in English, Dutch, and French for effective communication
