Senior Product Manager – Payments (Isabel6)

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Payments to lead and evolve the payments capabilities of Isabel6. In this strategic role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, focusing on ensuring that Isabel 6 remains the most secure, compliant, and user-friendly multi-banking payment solution in the market.

The ideal candidate is a payments domain expert with a deep understanding of European payment regulations (including Verification of Payee, Instant Payments, PSD2, and SEPA), and a proven ability to translate market needs into successful product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for payments within Isabel 6, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.

• Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including market research, business case development, product design, and go-to-market strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, compliance, marketing, and customer success) to deliver high-quality product enhancements on time and within scope.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings in the payments landscape, ensuring Isabel 6 remains compliant and competitive.

• Act as the subject matter expert for payments internally and externally, representing Isabel 6 at industry events, customer engagements, and regulatory discussions.

• Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product decisions.

• Prioritize features and improvements using data-driven decision-making, balancing customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, in the payment’s domain.

• Deep knowledge of the European payments landscape and related regulations, including Verification of Payee, Instant Payments, PSD2, SEPA, and EPC schemes.

• Strong understanding of B2B financial products, multi-banking solutions, and transaction management platforms.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful product strategies.

• Experience working in agile product development environments.

• Fluent in Dutch & English and/or French & English

• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
