What you’ll do

As a Testing Team Lead, you’ll be a line manager for a team of (automation) testers: you ensure their wellbeing, their personal development, and foster good internal collaboration between the team members and other teams. You’ll also be responsible for:

• Leading the testing process, including planning, design, execution and reporting

• Mentorship and coaching of the team in functional, non-functional, performance, load and security testing

• Estimation and planning of work for your team

• Growth conversations, career guidance and contributing to salary reviews

Your challenges: 

• Define test (automation) collaboration within delivery organization

• Ensure involvement of QA in the design phase of projects

• Leading test strategy towards a focus on automation and test management tooling

• Creating transparency towards internal stakeholders (product management, IT operations and release management) on quality assurance coverage and goals

What makes you a great fit 

We’re looking for a people manager who wants to define & lead Isabel’s test strategy towards a focus on automation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you: 

• Have a proven track record in a similar role

• Have excellent communication & stakeholder management skills

• Have strong hands-on experience (Java, Selenium, Zephyr Scale, JMeter, Gatlin)

• Have experience with performance, load and security testing

• Hold an ISTQB certification

• Have a solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies

• Have practical experience with Jira

• Are proactive and result driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes

• Have prior experience in banking and an understanding of financial services, processes & regulations

• Have notions of the DORA regulation

• Are fluent in English AND either Dutch or French
