Where are you?

Welcome to your future team. As a Data Architect (employee or freelancer) you will become an indispensable link in the Codabox Team that belongs to our Business Solutions division headed by Marie Costers.

What you’ll be doing

At CodaBox, we are setting up a modern analytical data solution to enable reporting, billing and business intelligence reports. This involves the analysis of the current situation, the investigation to choose the relevant architecture for us, and the design of the solution. After that, you will be helping ClearFacts and ClearNox with similar needs.
To be able to do that, we are looking for a hands-on Data Architect, who helps us to understand our situation, decides what solution is relevant, sets up the environment, and shares the needed knowledge with the other development teams.

What should you know

• Extensive experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes or Data Meshes.
• Practical experience with Data Meshes is a plus.
• Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security and compliance within the Data Mesh framework
• A solid understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Meshes, so you are able to make a founded decisions for our Data solution.
• Be able to merge a data architecture role within the agile organization, collaboration, ...
• Know about Google Cloud and/or AWS and its data solutions like BigData.
• Be able to coach other team members in the data area.
• Have a clear understanding of Domain Driven Design

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in a data-driven organization
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
• Data governance and data quality expertise
• In-depth understanding and practical experience with Data Mesh architecture principles
