Where are you?

Welcome to your future team. As a Product Manager (employee or freelancer), you will become an indispensable link in the Isabel 6 Multibanking-team that belongs to our Banking Solutions division headed by Sabrina Defraene.

Our leading Belgian multibanking solution Isabel 6 bundles payments and account information across 26 banks into one user-friendly and complete overview. The Isabel Connect API even lets you integrate Isabel 6 into your back-office applications.

What you’ll be doing

For your product/domain, you:

• Contribute to the strategy and objectives and you adapt where necessary based on new insights
• Track industry trends and the competitive landscape. You are on top of changes that will define your product in the future and you make the difference between what is relevant and what is not
• Discover new products and features that will make a difference for our customers and our company. You have an outside-in approach
• Design the full experience. You are aware of the many touchpoints that define the experience of our customers at feature level and you bring those together into a great customer journey
• Cover all bases from a business perspective, within the constraints proper to our eco-system. You keep value created for our customers central. You dare to challenge
• You collaborate with customers, banks, partners and internal departments across all levels. You understand what is at play and you create collaborative partnerships
• You support and enable delivery, marketing, sales, etc. in bringing your products and their features to the market
• You manage the full lifecycle of your products and monitor their performance. You know exactly how your product is being used and you continuously look for ways to improve it
• You represent your product externally towards customers, partners, Febelfin, banks, etc.

This is how you appear in our dreams

• You have a Master’s degree (or equivalent by experience).
• You are business fluent in English, Dutch and French.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of working experience on products in a SAAS context as product manager, product designer, business analyst, lead engineer, or user researcher.
• You can work in a transforming environment and have strong planning and organization skills.
• You have demonstrated an understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery.
• You have a solid understanding of the various constraints of a business. Constraints from marketing, sales, customer service, finance, legal and security to name a few.
• You have demonstrated the ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your arguments in a well-structured, data-informed way.
• You have a proven ability to engage with both engineers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• You are not afraid to sign up for results, even when you must work through others to get them realized.
• You are eager to learn.

Product Management Domains

Product Manager Experience Management
Emphasis will be on customer experience; the candidate basically must live and breathe customer experience

• The product domain will be about: how you become a customer, how you subscribe, how you get access, how you manage the configuration of your solution, how you obtain support, etc.
• This domain interacts very closely with sales, customer success and customer support.

Product Manager Integrated Banking Solutions
The emphasis will be on technical knowledge; the candidate must be able to think like a developer while being knowledgeable about the (open) banking space in which he/she is active.

The product domain will be about:

• Challenges when translating a business need into a technical product: Integration patterns (ICS, Connect, Isabel Go, etc…) in relation to on-premise or SAAS, developer environments and related needs, security challenges, marketplaces, Aggregators, Plugins, Connectors, etc..
• Understanding the underlying business needs and eco-system: Open banking, Premium API’s by banks and non-banks, E-document exchanges, etc.

Product Manager Corporate Banking
The emphasis will be on the banking domain in terms of payments and reporting; the candidate needs to be knowledgeable about financial services, regulations, etc. in a B2B context.

The product domain will be about: services in relation to account information (formats, usage, etc..), services in relation to payments (formats, usage, beneficiaries, SDD, etc.), interaction channels (mobile, web), changes in regulations (PSD, instant Payments, PSR, etc.. )
