Welcome to your future team. As Product Manager (employee or freelancer) you will become an indispensable link in the KUBE Team that belongs to our Banking Solutions division headed by Sabrina Defraene.

What you’ll be doing

As Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing how Isabel Group scales up its corporate data services in the coming years. You will join the KUBE team, which has been transformed recently into a full-fledged product development team to support our scale-up ambitions. This team is on a mission to extend the product beyond its initial scope (as described on www.kube-kyc.be/en) and to drive adoption and generate value in the broader (financial) market.

The KUBE team is set up to cover the full product lifecycle covering product management, legal & compliance, product development and customer success. The team uses a pragmatic agile approach and has a great level of autonomy in how it organizes the work to maximize the value it delivers. You will act side to side to another Product Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team eager to continue developing KUBE to cover new market segments and become the reference for corporate data services.

You will:

• Own, define and monitor the complete lifecycle of the KUBE Utility, including but not limited to defining and adhering to the business case, guarantee market fit in functions, quality, user convenience, servicing, and pricing.
• Define and manage underlying roadmaps & releases. The “Why’s” and the “What”.
• Define the development priorities and coordinate the optimization of our solution(s) to meet customers’ needs, contribute to the growth of the revenues and the satisfaction of our customers.
• Maintain close relations with the major client departments involved with onboarding, channels, compliancy & risk to proactively collect, adhere and align as much as possible to their needs and requirements and translate them in proper solutions and product priorities.
• Build a long-term relationship with customers and in this way give shape to the content of the product offering in a pro-active & steering way.
• In collaboration with the shareholder banks & the Isabel Group Sales and Marketing Dep., develop a plan and actions to promote and commercialize the KUBE utility to reach new customers and hence realize the agreed business case.
• Give advice and support to the commercial department to position the products and/or services in the best possible way on the market.
• Stay well-informed about market and regulatory evolutions to adhere to new upcoming requirements & opportunities.

This is how you appear in our dreams

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Economic Science, Science, Engineering or closely related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably banking
• At least 8 years of relevant experience as Product Manager
• Experience in banking sector with a broad exposure to software implementation projects
• Good mix and exposure to business & technology
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong mentoring skills and the ability to inspire others
• Positive and impactful communication skills
• Comfortable speaking to/with both technical and non-technical teams
• Good knowledge of Dutch AND English (written & spoken), knowledge of French is a plus
• Knowledge of ESG legislation is a definite plus
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, flexible and open-minded
